Getting back to normal

Grandma is getting a little better at adjusting to life at Legacy. I think the trip to the hospital so soon after she got here was very disorienting. She seems to be happy with her surroundings and is starting to participate in more activities so hopefully she'll start making friends and feeling less isolated. Her short-term memory is definitely not what it used to be and she doesn't really follow conversations very well but she seems happy enough. She gets lots of visits - especially from Nancy who is there several times a day. The kids like going to see her and have taken her for short walks around Legacy (she's not up for much) and we've taken her for a drive around the valley which she seemed to really enjoy.
